About Next Great American Homes

When Leigh Overland began thinking about the next home he would live in, he considered how the world is changing. As his plans took shape, he realized he wanted to build a home that would last, provide comforts that also offered a healthy indoor and outdoor environment, and could withstand the kinds of destructive weather that is becoming more commonplace.

Leigh has experience with Insulated Concrete Form (ICF) construction, and chose it as a basis for his home. He knew he wanted all components to be energy efficient, and he anticipated that since he is near the coast, his neighborhood could face high winds and floods.

We will demonstrate that, thanks to its progressive preservation approach, this home will transform the way we build and interact with the environment
